A$AP Ferg - Talk It

A$AP Ferg - Talk It

As protestors continue to march all across the nation in solidarity with Ferguson, A$AP Ferg offers his own thoughts on the tragedy. The rapper who is known for spitting hardcore on bass filled beats took the time to speak about hate and oppression. “All I ever wanted was a Clams Casino beat to talk about oppression that’s repressing my peeps.” As the Clams Casino produced song continues, Ferg gives us more insight to his frustration referencing NWA'S "Fuck The Police" and shouting out Mike Brown. It's a revealing record for Ferg showcasing his perspective on injustice and his rise to fame in 2014.

“Talk It” will be available on A$AP Ferg’s upcoming mixtape Ferg Forever dropping November 28th. - Jaz Woods

Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment – Sunday Candy

Donnie Trumpet & The Social Experiment – Sunday Candy

In preparation of their upcoming album Surf, the Social Experiment releases Sunday Candy. While the Social Experiment is a four-member band (Chance the Rapper, Donnie Trumpet, Nate Fox and Peter Cottontail) that is working together on Surf, Donnie Trumpet’s name is on the marquee because according to the band, this is a Donnie Trumpet project. Sunday Candy beautifully combines multiple levels of instrumentation with gospel and vocals from Chance and Jamila Woods, all of which culminates into a beautiful piece of music. Sunday Candy is the right type of uplifting sentiment we need in these troubling times. – Carmine Colangelo

Pusha T-Lunch Money

Pusha T-Lunch Money

Pusha T hits the re-set button with his latest street single Lunch Money which features dope boy quotables over a rare (these days) Kanye West production. As inventive as this instrumental is, it honestly distracts from King Push's metaphor. This will serve as an appetizer until the entire body of work is ready to be unveiled.

Usher-Clueless

Usher-Clueless

Of all places to find the latest Usher single, his new tune Clueless is released by way of Cheerios cereal boxes. While Usher's upcoming album has been pushed back indefinitely, this is another quality single from the R&B legend. Usher croons through the track in falsetto as he sings about the foolishness of love. -Gregory Calvaire

Young Buck-Bring My Bottles Ft. 50 Cent & Tony Yayo

Young Buck-Bring My Bottles Ft. 50 Cent & Tony Yayo

Very rarely in hip-hop do we see the type of resurgence that G-Unit has enjoyed in 2014 and in actuality the clique's latest run has been more substance than hype. Bring My Bottles sounds like it was left off of Buck's break out album Straight Outta Cashville, as the fiery MC's energy dominates the track. -Gregory Calvaire

Nicki Minaj-Bed Of Lies Ft. Skylar Grey

Nicki Minaj-Bed Of Lies Ft. Skylar Grey

Nicki Minaj's PinkPrint album is shaping up to be quite the box of chocolate...you never really know what your going to get from her. As much as Nicki's been bragging about the impact this album will have, this is the first single she's released that seems to have a sense of timelessness to it as she delves into the struggles of her well kept secret of a relationship that has reportedly come to an end. Surely Minaj won't reach the heights of Hov's Blueprint LP, but we can definitely hear the song cry here. -Gregory Calvaire
