Show Recap: Young Jeezy's Seen It All Album Release Concert

  • Artist(s): Young Jeezy
  • Venue: Stage 48
  • Date: 2014-09-03 20:00:00

Southern rap legend and self-claimed “Trapper of Da Year” Young Jeezy delivered an aggressive show last night at Stage 48 that proved that he has for sure Seen It All. The theme of the night was “We seen it all” as Young Jeezy kept the crowd hyped and reminded us all that “if your dreams don’t scare you, then you aren’t dreaming big enough.”  Not only was he able to fill the venue to capacity and keep the crowd eager with a four hour wait, he dominated the stage taking us from 2005’s Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101 all the way up to his September 2nd release Seen It All.

Trap or Die and Holy Ghost kept the crowd sonically pleased. Jeezy has remained at the top of the southern rap sphere since his lead single Soul Survivor feat. Akon became a top 10 hit in the United States. To celebrate, Akon joined the rapper on stage and gave the crowd an unexpected treat.

One of the highlights of the show was the return of Remy Ma who reminded us that Young Jeezy is without a doubt one of the realest in the game. She delivered a ferocious freestyle after performing Lean Back and her fiery verse on They Don’t Love You No More Remix. There was not one shut eye in the audience as all eyes laid on Remy.

Half way through the star studded show, Jeezy explained to us that he was feeling “young” and wanted to show love to his “young n*gga.” It was only right that Brooklyn, NY native Bobby Shmurda appear on stage and perform his viral sensation Hot N*gga.  With the crowd wanting more from Shmurda, an encore was called and he performed the single twice leaving everyone with their arms up Shmoney Dancing for that portion of the night.

To close out the already heavy hitting show, Young Jeezy brought out Future who performed Move That Dope and Tears Fall. Before Young Jeezy exited the Stage 48 platform, he left us with a performance of his new single Seen It All, featuring Jay Z. Seen It All: The Autobiography is now in stores and available on iTunes.
