As he geared up to release his sophomore album, J Cole used a moniker that has followed him throughout his career to give back to fans by way of The Dollar And A Dream Tour. J Cole put together a show that fans could attend on a first come, first serve basis. Cole was very intimate with the audience, sharing many stories and emotions with the crowd and also allowing them to make song requests. Cole stayed away from his most commercial material such as Can’t Get Enough, Mr. Nice Watch and Work Out and exclaimed, “tonight is not about the singles.” With that said, his medley of mixtape tracks and album cuts kept the fans more than happy as they rapped word for word every record to Cole’s delight.

By far the highlight of the night was towards the end of the show when fans truly realized this was the most efficient dollar they ever spent in their lives. J Cole transitioned from his beloved song Lights Please into In The Morning and Drake himself came out and joined J Cole and then went into his own solo records such as Say What's Real and Started From The Bottom. Jay-z and Travie McCoy watched on from the VIP balcony with much respect.

Love and Hip Hop New York’s Kaylin Garcia and her friend Wavy were also in attendance watching on from VIP.

Dreamville records artist Bas shared the stage with J Cole for his new mixtape single Lit, which Cole confessed he wish was his own song.

Born Sinner co-producer Elite watched on from VIP, as his long-time collaborated J Cole smashed the stage.

Rap Radar’s Elite Wilson gave live documentation of the show via Twitter and Vine the entire evening.
